MY TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY
As a psychotherapist in the field of mental health for twenty years, I have come to the conclusion that "everything works for someone and nothing works for everyone." The expert on what a client needs isn't the therapist- it is the client. That is why I tailor my approach to the needs of the client I am collaborating with. I have training in traditional psychoanalysis, in more solution-focused approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and numerous other therapeutic models and therapies. I bring the diversity of my training and experience into the room by varying the approaches I use- or sticking to one method- depending on the feedback I get from my clients. In my years of advanced study and direct clinical experience, I have had the privilege of watching people change, grow and improve their lives and the lives of those around them. I see therapy as my calling and I share my client's desire to find relief, change for the better, and enjoy life more.
